This is my first blog "tag". I was tagged by my blog-tastic sister Dee, who updates her blog everyday, and recieves notification on her Blackberry everytime she gets a comment on her blog. She is a professional. I'll give this a go while Christian is napping.
Five things on my "to do" list this week:
1. Finish the baby room. Curtains, bedding, wash the clothes, vacuum, fold everything cute, basically nest. I am still trying to finish my baby quilt. For something so small I am sure taking my sweet time.
2. Go to the OB/GYN. This appointment is a big one on my list. This is my first succession of "once-a-week" appointments, all you mommies out there know this is a land mark. I get "checked", which means everything down south needs to be in order. That is a feat in and of itself. Also, this means I am near the finish line. Which leads to number 3.
3. Have Labor.
4. Coax, beg, and nag my dear husband to finish the backyard before number 3 happens.
5. The usual laundry, showers, floors, bank, and do some fabulous hair for my dear clients. Two more weeks of work left and they are all dashing towards the finish line to get in before this baby comes.
Five snacks I enjoy:
1. Diet Coke with lime
2. Diet Coke with lemon
3. Popcorn
4. French fries
5. and a Diet Coke
Five things I would do if I suddenly became a billionare:
1. Buy my husband lifetime season tickets to the Lakers, or just buy him the Lakers. Then he could give up all his fantasy sports teams and do it for real.
2. Go back to Italy with my sweetheart and buy a villa.
3. Shop, right? You all know me :)
4. Quit working and serve missions all over the world.
5. Make people's dreams come true.
Five places I've lived:
1. West Jordan, Utah born and raised-WEST SIDE!
2. SLC, Utah with my girls.
3. Rome, Italy.
4. Orem, Utah where I met my sweetheart.
5. So Cali. My Home.
Five jobs I've had:
1. Junior Jazz basketball referee-miserable.
2. Dietary Aid at the "Old Folks Home"-hilarious.
3. Gart Sports-easy.
4. Victoria's Secret- a change of pace from sportswear :)
5. Five is not enough. I've had too many jobs. Sum it up with.....Medical Assistant, Make-up model, Missionary of the Lord, Waitress, Hairstylist, and Mom.
Five things people may not know about me:
1. I'm not really high maintenance. It only takes me 20 minutes to get ready. I rarely shave. I cut my own hair. Do my own eyebrows. And shop the sales.
2. I hate being on the phone. I prefer text, email, and now blogging. I get anxious and stressed when I have a lot of calls to return and no time to get to them.
3. I am a "home-body". I love to stay home with my boys, scrapbook, read, watch movies, clean, and organize.
4. Organizing turns me on. I adore Martha Stewart.
5. I'm really insecure about my hands and feet. OK some of you know this already. My hands are like Shreks, and I have an extremly large big toe. Really large. Secret is out.
Five favorite musicians / bands:
1. Beatles-my first love.
2. Gwen. I love running to Gwen.
3. a little 80's
4. a little Country
5. and a little Hip Hop.

I think we could add my name to the top of the snack portion of this- good times going down to get our Diet Cokes in the dorms and heading back up for a little candle time.
Also, I totally love your big big toe, Ronnie has the same feature, it runs in his family so now maddie and bex do too!
Good luck with that delivery thing you got goin' on soon. I will be praying for a quick and easy, labor- if that's possible.
OK, I will stop commenting now before I take over your blog, I think I am just still so happy we found each other again!
love you!
Awesome- you are a blog pro now!
Oh Shrek-hands are the greatest!! I love you in all your glory. You are the best. I'll be getting my lists ready. You know I love the bloggo taggo.
We really are a lot alike. I'm a home body and don't like the phone too. See u tomorrow.
Hi Katrina! I saw your comment on Alicia's blog and found your blog. I was sad we missed the wedding reception because I was looking forward to seeing your family! Maybe next time! Email me caray1@gmail.com and I'll send you an invite to ours.
You think my happy birthday song is annoying. Lime in the coconut beats it hands down. I did not see much work going on in your backyard this week. good luck
Yeah...hate the phone, love diet coke, well Dr. D.P. if I have the choice.
For the record, Katrina's dear husband will have the backyard STARTED before she goes into labor, and finished within the next 30 days....and I appreciate the Laker tickets...love ya babe!
I just heard a cracking whip- Jeff- you better get this party started! (Jon is doing the same thing- I can't wait to have a closed in backyard to put kids in so I can blog! Is that abusive? I have been trying to figure out a humane way to get them crate trained as an alternative...any ideas? I wish I was a plygamist- they get away with EVERYTHING!!
Glad to see you've joined the blogging world. Congrats on the babe on the way. Glad all is well, and you got through those first few months. Good Luck with labor, delivery, recovery, and then baby! I can't believe my baby is already 5 months!
For starters...thanks for the tag. I'm thinking crap up already. I have so much blogging to do, I'm making an all day appointment with my Mac.
I remember our enlightening conversation about how cell phones and voicemail stress us out. Like they're just another method for people to get at us and make demands on our time. I'm really having to get over that with being a business owner.
I'm just glad someone else out there has a freakishly-big big toe. I just hope Isabel develops the confidence I lacked as a teenager to handle it better if hers develops into the "culdesac" like mine. :)
Katrina,
Loved getting to know more about you for sure...Can't wait to see your cute little one, sounds like you are getting ready. Christian will seem huge when you bring that baby home, always a new adventure!
