Grandma Karen

Grandma Karen came for a visit. Everyone has always loved and adored my Mom; friends, teachers, boyfriends, everyone. I love my Mom and she always makes me feel like a million bucks. The distance between us is miserable! I think I call and bug her everyday. I mentally find me telling myself "wait and call your Mom tomorrow, you just called her yesterday and you don't want to burn her out". She is my dearest friend, worthy confidant, and my "true north" always keeping me on the right path. I consult her on everything and hold her opinion highly.

Well, now I have to share her with two more little people who LOVE and ADORE her as Grandma Karen. These two little boys can't get enough of her and Christian cried the whole day when she left to go back home to "Mutah".
Christian workin' grandma for a Lightening McQueen hat.Preston completely content in Grandma's arms.We still don't know who was more excited to ride Dumbo; Grandma or Christian. Toy Story Mania - Christian and Grandma rode this one together and Christian laughed his head off the whole ride.
Small World-Grandma's favorite ride. What handsome boys!Sometimes Christian gets a little "camera shy" and was a little star struck when he had a photo op with Lightening McQueen. Here we are...a happy family.

Thanks for the visit Mom. There is no one else I'd rather cook with, stay up all night with, spend a Disney day with, or share a coke with. We LOVE you!!!

I'm honestly jealous and feel like the last kid picked last for kick ball. No invite. No phone calls. Nothing. I can't compete to be the favorite when you have two kids, gossip and Disneyland. You play dirrty. Yeah, that's two "R's" in dirty, cause you're that dirty. Ha ha ha miss you punk.

I will never forget your mom. It's been 10 years since i saw her last but I still love her. She always called me angela or amy or some name that starts with an "A" and I would call her kathy or kate. Weird little game we played but I'll never forget it.

I totally agree with you on this post, moms are the best. However me and my mom, we like our visits with Dr. Pepper, not coke. Is that allowed?

I always liked your mom a lot. She called me Becca Bootie before the word bootie was even cool!
