Dear Boys, I Love You!

Late last night I was blog surfing and catching up on all your wonderful blogs. Jeff was out playing a little church ball and the boys were both asleep. So for the first time all day I had a little time to myself.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to connect all the dots to this story. I wanted to share it with all of you. I first heard this story from a client, then from a friend's blog, and later from my wedding photographers blog. It's about a couple in Arizona who were in a plane crash in August. The both suffered severe and critical burns. They have three children. The mom is a well known blogger and has an awesome blog celebrating motherhood and religion.

As I was reading the updates on the couples health last night, I was literally moved to tears. They are such a beautifil family and she was such a talented mother. Sometimes it is good to be reminded of why I am so blessed to be a wife and mother. Everyday is a blessing, each memory is a gift.

For those who are interested, please visit her blog and donate to the family.

I was moved to tears too when I read about it! It surely makes us realize how precious every moment with our family is!

Yes...so sad. The girl that I run with on Saturdays has a sister, Wendy, who is a photographer/friend of that family, and she was on the Today show right after it happened to tell about the family...I guess she had just taken some pictures of their family. Julie and I were talking about it on our run and tearing up. Tragic.

Katrina,

This is the first chance since our move to view any blogs. I have never even seen your baby and this was so fun. He is so cute. I miss you guys. I wish we could've done dinner before we moved. We will have to get together someday.
